Golf Course Manager

Luke Steimke received his degree in Golf Course Management from the Professional Golfers Career College and has rapidly risen through the professional ranks. He started his career in Virginia as an Assistant Golf Professional, but his talents were quickly recognized, leading to several promotions. Fore Golf soon relocated Luke to Scottsdale, Arizona where he served as the Head Golf Professional/Director of Instruction at Ancala Country Club. A few years later, Luke was given the opportunity to further his career when he relocated to Florida as the General Manager at Baytree National Golf Links. Not long after, Luke became the General Manager of two semi-private clubs located in the Space Coast of Florida. Luke has many goals for the new Mooresville Golf Club, and is thrilled to be in Mooresville.

Head PGA Professional

Jeremy Elliott is a PGA Professional at the Mooresville Golf Club. Born in Indiana, Jeremy graduated from Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC where he majored in Business Administration with a concentration of Professional Golf Management. He was elected into the Professional Golfers’ Association in 1994. Jeremy worked as an assistant golf professional at the Alamance Country Club before becoming the Head Golf Professional at Mooresville Golf Course in 1997. Married with two daughters, Jeremy has recorded a low score of 66, and has recorded three hole in ones at the Mooresville Golf Club.

Assistant Golf Professional

Ryan Taggart joined the staff of the Mooresville Golf Club in September 2018. He comes to MGC from the Birmingham Country Club in Birmingham, Michigan where he was the Assistant Golf Professional from 2011 to 2018. Ryan has 16 years of experience working in the golf industry, beginning his career at Twin Beach Country Club in West Bloomfield, Michigan. He then attended the Professional Golfers Career College in Kissimmee, Florida. Ryan will be seeking his PGA certification in 2019 to further his education and service to MGC players. He currently lives in Mooresville and enjoys spending time with his wife Jessica and their two children, Avery and Lucas.
 

Golf Superintendent

 

Todd Lederer is the Golf Superintendent at the Mooresville Golf Club. Born in Statesville, he received a degree in golf course management from Catawba Valley Community College. Todd began his career with the Club in 1991 as the Assistant Superintendent and was promoted to Superintendent in 2009. Todd earned Class A Superintendent status from Golf Course Superintendents Association of America in 2011. He had the privilege to work closely with golf course architect Kris Spence during the renovation of the club in 2014. Todd lives in Mooresville with his wife and two children.
